Some easy hiking; A Half-day Experience - 4 hours

Imagine strolling along the beach at a pristine lake where magnificent old growth trees tower behind you and crystal clear waterfalls abound! The journey to this remote recreation site takes you along the shore of Sproat Lake and up over a mountain pass. You will pass several enormous landslides that demolished bridges in the winter of 2006/2007. You will be stunned at the power of nature. The views as you enter the valley are breathtaking! There is a fascinating trail through the old growth leading to two waterfalls. If there is time, we take a journey up the Nahmint valley, where there is a small herd of Roosevelt Elk., and where there are more waterfalls and a great view of Nahmint Mountain. This is a tour that consistently exceeds peoples' expectations.
